By far the largest of the small towns North of Exit 18, Huntersville is very much a family-oriented town.
Huntersville is home to Birkdale Village, a unique live-shop new urbanism neighborhood, and the North Meck Aquatic Center. Huntersville also recently finalized plans for the North Discovery Place for Kids. The largest employers are Newell Rubbermaid and Presbyterian Hopsital.
While in Huntersville you’ll want to spend time at Latta Plantation, Blythe Landing and the Carolina Raptor Center. The seasonal Farmer’s Market on Tuesday’s and Saturday’s brings an abundance of local produce.
